Peak Components™ Version 4.0

IEC Intelligent Technologies is pleased to announce the release of Peak Components Version 4.0, our LONWORKS® Technology compatible network management API. Developed with the input of OEMs and Developers, this easy-to-use API provides high performance LonTalk® Network Management at low cost and is royalty free.

Peak Components provides complete LonTalk network management, NV/CP browsing, and device diagnostics capability. A few of the features included in Peak Components Version 4.0 are: fast network discovery, application download capability, configuration templates, application configuration data tracking, and LONMARK® DRF file support. In addition, Version 4.0 includes, COM support, .NET support, and CEA-860 Plugin support. IEC provides these capabilities locally, remotely over LonTalk, and remotely over an IP network for no additional charge thereby making your LONWORKS Technology network installation fast, painless, and low cost.

Peak Components is also embeddable and can run under virtually any operating system. Not only does Peak run under Win32, OEMs are running Peak on four different Motorola processors using four different RTOSes. Using an embedded solution saves OEMs thousands of dollars per site in hardware costs as well as provides the capability to run embedded client applications to speed the integration process.

With several thousand copies of Peak Components based products in the field we are a significant player in the LonTalk network management arena.
