IEC's ICELAN 2000 provides the capability to develop and deploy graphic screens to visualize and interact with LONWORKS technology networks. ICELAN 2000 is designed to: 1) support the LONWORKS environment, 2) provide high performance network management, 3) provide low cost network management (no per node royalty), 4) provide client/server capability, and 5) provide support for all new and existing LonTalk® networks. The ICELAN 2000 architecture provides a total, technically superior, integrated and flexible solution. Echelon Corporation has previously selected ICELAN-G as its tool of choice for the System Integrators class and devoted a full day of the class to ICELAN-G. Echelon also contracted IEC to provide support for LonUsers® International and to be the system integrator for the HVAC Profile Fest where we demonstrated the ease of use of ICELAN-G.
